Lauren Blackard graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in digital media. She is also an alumnus of Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts where she studied audio production.
Lauren has won awards for her work in film making with The National Advertising Federation. Her horror trailer “Long Hollow” placed a Gold Addy and Best of Show regionally and placed a second Gold Addy in district 7.
Her short film, “Wrong Level,” was included in in three film festivals in 2019; De Profundis Biannual Horror Short Film Festival in Manchester UK, Push! Film Festival in Bristol, TN, and the Twin Cities Film Festival in Minneapolis, MN.
Lauren Currently works for Blackburn Childers & Steagall, PLC in Johnson City, TN. As a marketing and graphic design intern.
In her free time she enjoys crochet, circus arts, and hanging out with her four cats and dog.
